Concept

our story

Since its inception, LAPS has viewed the watch as a canvas for expression as much as an everyday object. More than a traditional watch brand, we take an editorial approach to watchmaking: a free-spirited and curious way of exploring the imagery, form, and details that give each piece its identity. Drawing inspiration from photography, graphic design, architecture, and Parisian visual culture, our creations seek a balance between uniqueness and practicality. Each watch tells its own story, designed to be a lasting companion to those who wear it.

The Editions Collection

An exploration of the watch as a medium for storytelling and visual expression. Each dial emerges from a dialogue between image, colour, composition and material, in an approach inspired by art, graphic design and everyday life. Artistic collaborations, graphic series and unique formats come together to form a free-spirited collection, designed to forge a personal connection with those who wear it. Watches conceived as living objects, capable of accompanying the wearer’s gaze and daily life for years to come.

The Studio Collection

A more structured approach to watchmaking, where form takes centre stage. The design of the case, the interplay of volumes, surfaces and light now play a key role in defining the identity of each piece. Inspired by architecture, design and a quest for balance, the Studio collection embodies a more precise and essential aesthetic. These are watches conceived as a whole, where every detail contributes to a subtle yet enduring presence on the wrist.

A shared vision

Whether inspired by imagery or form, the Éditions and Studio collections share a common goal: to create watches that embody a presence, a personality, and a unique perspective. Each collection explores a different approach to watchmaking, yet remains guided by the same attention to detail, balance, and the individuality of each piece. Somewhere between the gaze and time, designed to be a lasting companion to those who wear them.
