Description

Limited edition of 200. Dial produced from a work by Malick Sidibé. Watch assembled in Paris.

Known for his black and white photography, Malick Sidibé had a gift for capturing moments of joy and dancing poses. In 2017, his festive images of a post-independence Mali were exhibited at the Fondation Cartier as part of an unprecedented retrospective in tribute to the artist. This watch is one of three exclusive models from our collaboration with Gallery FIFTY ONE, a leading name in the photography market. Each of these limited edition pieces is numbered, engraved, and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.

Match with your watch

The Fine Art Print Editions is born from one simple belief: a watch can stand for something. Not merely the time, but an intention, a sensibility, a way of seeing the world. It is around this idea that LAPS Editions was built.

Art print series dial

Our dials are produced from professional prints, made to the same standard as those destined for museums and galleries. Every detail and every nuance is brought to life by Hahnemühle paper which, once in our Parisian atelier, is shaped by hand.

Assembly

Assembling our watches here, in Paris, is a deliberate choice: to remain as close as possible to our standards. We work with a trusted partner to uphold a French know-how and ensure responsiveness for our customers.

Signature case

Our Signature case adopts a clean and balanced aesthetic, designed to subtly enhance the dial. Its rectangular silhouette makes it an elegant piece, designed to be noticed, without ever imposing itself.

Strap & Personalisation

We chose to develop straps you won't find anywhere else: materials, textures, and colours designed to give our watches a true character of their own. Interchangeable in a matter of seconds, they allow you to move from one style to another with effortless ease.
